Funding support helps meet programming needs of many
educational and performing arts organizations in Erie County.


BUFFALO, N.Y. – Cullen Foundation, an independent, private foundation dedicated to enhancing education for students in grades pre-K to 12 and advancing theatre and performing arts to positively impact residents of Erie County, New York, announced its next responsive grant cycle will open on July 3, 2017, with letters of intent due July 28, 2017.

Cullen Foundation provides funding opportunities to educational and performing arts organizations for up to three years ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per year. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend a free informational meeting on June 29, 2017, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at The Buffalo History Museum to learn more about the grant program’s requirements, application process, and other key details. Interested organizations should register to attend online through the Foundation’s website.

Since 2015, the Cullen Foundation has conducted four responsive grant cycles, which in total have awarded over $4 million to local education and performing arts nonprofit organizations.
